The Family Movie Friday series is back for 2013 thanks to the generous support of the Sierra Madre Issei Memorial Foundation, Sierra Madre Volunteer Firefighters Associations, and Mother Moo Creamery! Also, a special thank you to Sierra Madre Kiwanis Club for their donation towards a new movie screen.
The Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade is an annual tradition and represents the hometown spirit of the Sierra Madre community! Join us for the 2013 parade on Thursday, July 4, from 10:00am – 12:00 pm. The parade route begins at the corner of Sierra Madre Blvd. and Sunnyside Avenue, and will travel the length of Sierra Madre Blvd. to Sierra Vista Park.
This past Saturday, May 25th celebrated the 105th anniversary and 47th running of the Mount Wilson Trail Race. It was another successful year with great weather, stellar finishing times, and a lively crowd.
Preparations have begun! The Volunteers of the Sierra Madre 4th of July Committee are busily working on the 2013 celebration, and they need your help! The Committee is searching for sponsors to help make the magic happen and the "fireworks" pop. Think if just every family who loves the 4th donated $20 how much money would be raised!
Thank you for your consideration!
