Sierra Madre, CA. - April 11, 2014 - Winners of the Sierra Madre Public Library So Much To See, So Much To Do Art and Essay Contest were honored with cash prizes and certificates in an award ceremony at the Library. Children in grades K – 2 created drawings showing So Much to See. So Much to Do @ the Library and students in grades 3-8 wrote an essay telling why they feel there is So Much to See. So Much to Do @ Sierra Madre Public Library.
The Sierra Madre Public Library Summer Reading Program Grand Finale is on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Join us for FREE library fun for the whole family. “The Wolf Who Cried Boy” Puppet show starts at 11:00 am, and chamber music will be performed by Barbara and Alan Geier from 2:00-4:00 pm.

Maisie Dobbs, the Sierra Madre Public Library 2014 One Book One City choice, concluded a month of exciting free events with an extremely well-received appearance by the author Jacqueline Winspear.
Families with children ages three and younger are invited to register for the Library’s popular five-week Parent/Child Workshop featuring noted resource professionals on every Tuesday morning in April. The interactive workshops include toys, crafts, books and play in addition to discussions of parenting issues and concerns.
