Sierra Madre’s public library was filled to the brim as more than 700 friends and neighbors joined the festivities at the Library Open House on October 11, 2014.
Teens, 12 years old through seniors in high school, who are interested in local history, public speaking, and earning community service hours should contact the Sierra Madre Public Library to sign up for the Teen History Docent program. Teens will be trained on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the fall, and give tours to local groups, classes, family, and friends to share their new local history knowledge!
Sierra Madre, CA. - April 11, 2014 - Winners of the Sierra Madre Public Library So Much To See, So Much To Do Art and Essay Contest were honored with cash prizes and certificates in an award ceremony at the Library. Children in grades K – 2 created drawings showing So Much to See. So Much to Do @ the Library and students in grades 3-8 wrote an essay telling why they feel there is So Much to See. So Much to Do @ Sierra Madre Public Library.

Once you have established a PIN you may access your personal information from home via the Internet.

Type in your PIN and press enter or click the “Submit Button”
Once you are logged in to My LibraryAccount you can:
View items checked out
Request checked out items ($1.00 fee)
Modify your PIN
Modify your email address
View your fines and fees
Search the Catalog
Set up preferred searches
Reset forgotten PIN
If you have forgotten your PIN you can reset it by email if you have a valid email address in your account.
On the account login page, click on the Forgot your PIN link.
Families with children ages three and younger are invited to register for the Library’s popular five-week Parent/Child Workshop featuring noted resource professionals on every Tuesday morning in April. The interactive workshops include toys, crafts, books and play in addition to discussions of parenting issues and concerns.
Join the fun and festivities at the Library Open House on Saturday, October 11th, from 9 am – 12 pm. Try out eReaders and Ipads at the Technology Table, stop by the Friends of the Library book sale, and enjoy coffee, juice & light refreshments. DVD rentals will be free all day. Come see all that your local library has to offer!
