The responsibilities of the Library Board include the following: - Establishing Library policies and programs to ensure that quality programs are provided to the community.
- Recommending an annual budget to the City Council for approval.
- Ensuring that efficient and effective services are provided at the Library.
The
Board normally meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
in the City Hall Conference Room. The week before the Board meeting,
Trustees will receive a packet of the agenda items and the minutes of
the previous meeting. The Director of Library Services is responsible for staffing the Library Board. |
