Fire Prevention:

This program provides services to businesses and the general public in the area. Annual visits and inspections are conducted for childcare facilities and schools, as well as annual inspections of existing business and apartment buildings. Visits are made to businesses to ensure a fire safe facility and to provide business owners with safety tips and information. Visits to residential areas are initiated through invitation or neighborhood complaint. All new construction in the City of Sierra Madre requires fire sprinklers and owners doing renovation and repair are encouraged to install fire sprinklers throughout the renovated structure.
