City Transit Programs The City of Sierra Madre offers three transportation programs to its residents:
- The Round-A-Bout - Gateway Coach Local
Runs WEEK DAYS ONLY during the hours of 11 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- The Gold Line Shuttle - Gateway Coach Express
Runs WEEK DAYS ONLY during the hours of 7:00 to 8:34 a.m. AND 5:00 to 6:34 p.m.)
- Dial-A-Ride (Demand Response Transportation Service).
While both Gateway Coaches are available to all residents, the Dial-A-Ride is only available to resident seniors and disabled persons of all ages.

Additional Transportation Services Supplementing the Cityís transportation services are:
- MTA buses - three buses run from Sierra Madre to various cities including Pasadena, Arcadia, Los Angeles, and El Monte.
- MTA's Gold Line, the light rail that runs from Los Angeles to East Pasadena. The Gold Line can be reached using the Gateway Coaches, the MTA bus service, and Route 60 of the Pasadena ARTS shuttle bus.
