Sierra Madre Licensed Child Care (Kindergarten-12 years)
Our before-school and after-school programs encourage quality experiences for your children. The Y provides a fun, safe place for your children as well as opportunities to explore their interests through our enrichment programs. Benefits include care when school is not in session, 1:14 staff to child ratio and enrichment instructors with a background in education and child development. Curriculum includes homework time, fun enrichment classes, activities throughout the day and the chance to work with community organizations. Our child care staff is CPR/first aid and water safety certified and fingerprinted to ensure quality and safety for your child. Y staff has also completed training and coursework in child development and early childhood education.

Sierra Madre Licensed Summer Day Camp – (Kindergarten – 12 years)
At the Y we feel camp is among the best memories of childhood. It’s about all new experiences, character building, discovering new skills and developing lasting friendships.

During the summer break the Sierra Madre Day Camp transforms into a full day accredited day camp program for your camper. Benefits include small and large group activities that vary based on themes and weekly field trips. Campers will sing songs, hike, explore the arts and make crafts. Campers will swim once a week and visit their local library to keep their minds active. Campers are provided a morning and afternoon snack.

Not only is our camp accredited by the American Camping Association, but our camp staff is CPR/first aid and water safety certified, background and fingerprinted to ensure quality and safety for your child. Our Y staff to camper ratio is 1:10, with a staff team that is trained in child development and early childhood education.

Sierra Madre Teen Leadership Center – (12-17 years)
Teen Leadership Center works to meet the goals where teens feel valued and supported, know they have options and prospects for a successful future and gain the competence and confidence to become productive adult citizens. Our areas of focus include: Youth Development, Staff-supported homework time, literacy and educational support, arts and enrichment programming. Healthy Living, nutrition and physical fitness. Social Responsibility, Character development and community service learning projects. Our teen program follows PUSD school schedule, we operate on days when school is in session.

Early Release Mondays - 6 pm
Tue - * Fri School Dismissal - 6 pm
*On Fridays: Program meets in town from 3:00-4:00 at teen center from 4:30-6pm; program will not operate at Kersting Court if weather does not permit

Teen Leadership Day Camp – (12-17 years)
Pasadena YMCA Teen Leadership camp is designed to connect youth, develop self-esteem and explore the greater Pasadena and LA County Area with field trips and fun. Teens will learn to lead by doing positive programming in their community, with peers and adult role models. The program follows weekly themes with a variety of small and large group activities.

Metro Trips:
Every other week the teens will take a trip on Wednesday using the metro bus or train. These trips are local and will provide youth an opportunity to explore the city and county in a safe and supervised environment

Walking Trips:
Library – Teens will walk to the Library on Tuesday Swim – Teens will swim on Thursday
