Youth Activity Center

The Youth Activity Center (YAC) offers fun and educational activities and programs for teens. The YAC is a year round drop in teen center for youth ages 11-17 years of age. Staff plans daily activities as well as offers special events and programming throughout the year. For more information please contact YAC Specialist at 626-355-5278 x720.

Membership Benefits

In addition to Youth Activity Center access, members can also use the City's Gateway Coach. The Gateway Coach is a public transportation system that serves the City of Sierra Madre and has stops throughout the community. YAC members also have free access to the Sierra Madre Aquatic Center during public swim hours.

Location: 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., second floor of the Community Recreation Center
School Year Hours: Monday 12:30-7:00pm, and Tuesday – Friday 2:30-7:00pm
Summer Hours: Monday through Friday 12:00-7:00pm
Fee: $32 for a year membership

YAC Fridays In Kersting Court

Please join the Youth Activity Center every Friday this fall in Kersting Court. The YAC staff will be hosting games and activities every Friday from 3:00pm-6:00pm. All activities and games are free and all ages are welcome to participate. There is no need to pre-register, just show up in Kersting Court every Friday afternoon for a new activity or game! Kersting Court is located at the corner of Sierra Madre Blvd. and Baldwin Ave.
