Public and private schools within Sierra Madre provide education for children from preschool through high school. The City of Sierra Madre is served by the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD), which also serves the adjacent City of Pasadena, California. Within the City, there is one public elementary and middle school, Sierra Madre Elementary School, which is housed on two campuses overseen by PUSD.
