2022 4th of July Parade Registration Information

Parade Registration
The Sierra Madre 4th of July Parade is an annual tradition that is an integral part of the Sierra Madre community! This hometown parade features community members, organizations, classic cars, a marching band, kids on their decorated bikes and so much more. Join us for the 2022 parade parade on Monday, July 4, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The parade route will begin at the corner of Sierra Madre Blvd., and Sunnyside Avenue, and will travel the length of Sierra Madre Blvd., to Sierra Vista Park.

Parade participation is open to all; young, young-at-heart, and everything in between. There is NO Fee to participate in the parade this year thanks to a sponsorship from the The Kensington. If you are interested in participating in the 4th of July parade, please submit online HERE. Parade registration is open now and will close on Sunday, June 5th, 2022. All applications must be summited by Sunday, June 5th, 2022.

Sierra Madre's Independence Day celebration kicks off a day early in Memorial Park. The community joins together for a pre-parade picnic, dancing to music, and kids zone with confetti eggs and bubble wrap fireworks.

Monday, July 4, 2022
Day two of the celebration kicks off with the Fourth of July Committee Firecracker Fun Run 5k register HERE for the whole family immediately followed by the annual 4th of July Parade. The parade has been an annual tradition for over 40 years. Residents prop their chairs along Sierra Madre Boulevard, enjoying the small town charm of the parade.

A volunteer 4th of July Committee coordinates activities, varying from 1  - 3 days, to celebrate Independence Day. This committee meets yearly and anyone can volunteer to help.
